Carbon Monoxide Can seriously affect the distribution of oxygen in the blood, it can also cause anaemic hypoxia. Car exhausts contain large amounts of carbon monoxide and a re a leading cause of carbon monoxide poisoning. Some symptoms may include: Sluggishness and warmness Intense headache and throbbing Ringing in the ears Dizziness and dimming of vision Vomiting, convulsions and death Heat Operating in temperatures above 30 C can lead to: Discomfort Irritability Reduced efficiency Reduced tolerance to stresses Cold Operating in very cold temperatures can lead to: Frostbite Numbness Reduced efficiency Perspective Illusion Is the illusion that different sized objects may appear to be much closer or further away than they are. For instance a small aircraft that appears to be the same size as a larger aircraft will be much closer to you. Parallax Is the difference in apparent position of an object when viewed from different lines of sight. It can make an object or aircraft appear to be in a different position than it actually is
