Equipment When preparing your equipment for the flight review or for any mission make sure to do the following: your RPA and control station must have adequate battery power before the flight (fully charged) all equipment must be in working order. know your equipment limitations (max/min operating temps) up to date service and software updates there should be no modifications to the drone apart from manufacture approved payloads you should have a checklist for normal procedures (takeoff, flight,landing) you must have the operating/instructional manual for your equipment with you at all times your equipment and supplies should be organized in a manner that makes it easily accessible if needed always carry all necessary safety percussions like a first aid kit/fire extinguisher Crew For purpose of the flight review your reviewer can act as a visual observer unless you bring someone with you. If two or more people are doing the review we can combine the review into one. Always make sure that all your crew are brought up to speed about the missions and all necessary information along with the following: consider who your crew will be for the operation determine what their role and responsibilities will be clearly communicate those to the crew in advance of the operation note that the flight reviewer can act as a visual observer during the review be prepared to brief your crew on the day of the operation about their duties and any other important information about the flight operation
When flying a DJI drone, these are the correct light signals to give you an idea of what it looks like when the "return to home" has been correctly programed and activated. Always know your equipment before flying, familiarizing yourself with the correct light sequences and button calibrations.
