Summary RPAS are Aircraft and are sharing the airspace with other aircraft, as a RPAS pilot it is CRITICAL to avoid any conflict with other aircraft and so: Know what airspace you're in Know the rules of that airspace Know how to communicate with ATC and other aircraft Always Plan and prepare in advance: Familiarize yourself with the area of operation Contact ATC or other authorities ahead of time It is recommended that you carry a 2-way aviation radio (even if just to monitor)
