Class F Airspace It is clearly identified on maps with heavy hashed borders and designation CYR, CYA. All Class F airspace is listed in the "Designated Airspace Handbook" (DAH) available for free on the NAVCanada website. Class F airspace is special use airspace divided into of two types: Restricted Airspace (CYR-xxx) Advisory Airspace (CYA-xxx) Class F Airspace Restricted Airspace - CYR All altitudes will be inclusive unless 0/2 V otherwise indicated. All details can be found in the "Designated Airspace Handbook" available on the NAVCanada website. This underclass of airspace is: Absolutely RESTRICTED! MUST obtain permission from the user agency Class F Airspace Advisory Airspace - CYA VFR aircraft may fly through but this is not encouraged, all aircraft passing through must keep alert for activities identified as: (A) - Acrobatic (F) - Aircraft Test Area (H) - Hang gliding (M) - Military Operations (P) - Parachuting (S) - Soaring (T) - Training All Altitudes will be inclusive unless otherwise indicated Class G Airspace Class G is uncontrolled airspace, there are no restrictions on either IFR or VFR aircraft there is no traffic separation provided and pilots must be vigilant at all times for other aircraft. NOTE: "Low Level Air-Routes" are Class G - and they start at the surface They're indicated on the en-route low altitude maps with designators starting with "AR"
